National Inclusion Week ends, but the work it highlights shouldn’t. As the week closes, it’s worth asking not, “what did we do this week?” but “what changes because of it?”
This year’s theme challenged us to build trust and navigate change. For IDN, that means continuing to treat inclusion as inseparable from good technical practice rather than as a parallel initiative. It means keeping tools such as our pay gap analysis work central to how organisations approach fairness, rather than treating them as optional extras. And it means committing to the harder, ongoing work of trust-building long after the week’s content stops appearing in feeds.
Thank you for following along with us this week and a special thank you to Sophia Murray for writing this series of blog posts.
If any of these conversations resonated with you, we’d love to hear from you, whether that’s a comment, a share, or a conversation about how we can support your organisation’s inclusion work.
This is the fourth and final blog post in our National Inclusion Week 2026 series.
