Women in Nuclear UK (WiN UK) is a registered charity committed to improving gender balance and diversity across the UK nuclear sector. Established in 2014, WiN UK works to attract more women into the industry, support their retention and career progression, and promote inclusive working environments through collaboration with industry partners.
Through initiatives such as mentoring programmes, leadership development pathways including the WiN NED scheme, and its industry wide diversity charter, WiN UK provides practical support to individuals and organisations alike. The charity also plays an active role in public engagement, hosting events, networking opportunities, and annual awards that celebrate outstanding female talent and showcase the contributions of women across the nuclear industry.
