Inclusion and Diversity in Nuclear (IDN) is delighted to announce that Orano has renewed its industry partnership for 2026.
Orano has supported IDN since 2022, demonstrating a continued commitment to strengthening the nuclear workforce and supporting the sector’s future growth. This is further signalled by Orano renewing as a Gold-level partner, a step up from its previous Silver level.
David Batters, Managing Director of Orano Limited said: “ensuring we create and maintain an equitable, diverse and inclusive workplace, in a sector with those same values is very important to us at Orano. We’re a global business, so we see the immense benefit that diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds have in enabling us to deliver technically astute work to our clients and to perform well as a company. Being an industry partner of Inclusion and Diversity in Nuclear allows us to contribute to a sector-wide movement for equity, diversity and inclusion, which will ultimately allow us all to attract and retain the talented people our sector needs. We’re delighted to become gold industry partners this year and we’re looking forward to maximising our partnership to enhance our own working culture and support others in doing the same.”
IDN Managing Director Monica Mwanje said: “It is fantastic to have Orano’s continued support. This enables us to expand our work and deliver initiatives that strengthen the nuclear workforce and support long-term capability across the sector.”
As an industry partner, Orano’s backing enables IDN to continue delivering impactful initiatives, including our internship programme, which provides valuable work experience and supports participants in securing employment and building long-term careers. This sits alongside our industry-leading research, which provides valuable workforce insight to support the sector.
