Orano continues IDN Industry Partnership

4th July 2023

Inclusion and Diversity in Nuclear (IDN) is delighted to announce Orano is continuing as an industry partner for 2023.

IDN has grown exponentially over the last four years. To facilitate this continuing growth, we made a call for wider support from our colleagues in the industry to support our goals.

John Storer, Managing Director of Orano Limited stated that, “creating a diverse and inclusive environment within the nuclear sector will be one of the key factors of success for the industry, and Orano wants to play its part in achieving this. We want to ensure we are an attractive and supportive place to work, and that the industry we form part of reflects this reality too.”

IDN co-founder Monica Mwanje said: “Orano has provided vital capability and services to the UK Nuclear industry, and we are delighted that they remain on board as an Industry Partner. We look forward to pushing ahead with our plans for 2023 and beyond with their support.”

Orano has an established footprint in the United Kingdom built on over 40 years’ experience in the UK nuclear sector. Delivering the full range of its nuclear fuel cycle capability across the British Isles, Orano has provided and continues to deliver services relating to uranium, used fuel management and recycling, nuclear logistics, Pu management, engineering and nuclear site dismantling.

With on-the-ground engineering and specialist consulting teams in the UK, Orano also delivers local, hands-on support through its Projects Business Unit, and offers further value to clients through the extensive reach-back to its teams in France.
