Today (Wednesday 22nd April) sees the launch of the 2026 Inclusion and Diversity in Nuclear (IDN) Survey. We’re keen for professionals across nuclear to participate and help build a picture of what EDI looks like for the sector in 2026.
Understanding perceptions and experiences of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in the nuclear industry is crucial for understanding where to focus efforts and how to drive meaningful change. This is especially important as the sector grows its workforce to build new nuclear power plants and contribute to the UK’s net-zero and energy security ambitions.
Through this survey, we aim to gather insights from those currently working in the sector. Your contributions will be systematically analysed and integrated into the second EDI survey report we have produced.
Our 2024 EDI report was made possible thanks to your engagement and support. It continues to be widely used and valued across the sector, and we hope you’ll take part once again.
The survey should take approximately 10 – 15 minutes to complete and is open until Friday 22nd May.
Please consider completing this survey and encourage your colleagues to do the same.
The survey can be accessed here: IDN EDI Survey 2026
While our primary focus is the UK nuclear sector, participation is welcome from professionals working across the global nuclear industry.
