The webinar “Supporting Black Professionals in Nuclear” was hosted in honour of Black History Month.

The aim of the webinar was to provide practical tips to support Black employees and colleagues by discussing practical ways to boost recruitment, aid retention, and inclusion.

Our panel of fantastic speakers included:

Marcia Ore – Equality, Diversity and Inclusion partner at UKAEA;

Michelle Gyimah – Gender and Ethnicity Pay Gap consultant and founder of Equality Pays;

Leyla Okhai  РCEO at Diverse Minds.

Our annual EDI conference will be back on 15 July 2021.  

The conference will be fully online and open for anyone to attend. Registration will be free thanks to our 2021 Industry Partners: EDF, Urenco Global, and Sellafield Ltd.  

The conference talks and Q&A will be live from 10am-1pm BST (UK time). There will also be multiple afternoon workshops starting from 2 PM BST.   

We are very excited to bring this event to you. Our annual conferences are the essence of our initiative, and we hope this year’s event will reflect our renewed commitment to prioritising Inclusion while envisioning Diversity.
