2021 Industry Partners
The Industry Partnership Scheme
Every industry is going through a similar journey, with the goal of improving Inclusion and Diversity within the sector. There is a wealth of expertise we can draw from, and we believe in collaborating with
Over the years, we have learnt that there is a limit to the results we can achieve without help from the wider industry, especially as a small, standalone not-for-profit business.
We rely on the support of like-minded organisations through our Industry Partnership scheme.
The scheme has been active since 2021 and has allowed us to provide EDI support to over a dozen Partners. It includes a range of benefits, including bespoke EDI consulting and access to annual partner roundtables.
We are now running a special promotion for partners who sign up by October 2022. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more info!

Known as one of the four most hazardous buildings in Western Europe, the Sellafield Pile Fuel Cladding Silo (PFCS) was commissioned in 1952 to safely store radioactive cladding – pieces of metal tubes used for uranium fuel rods in some of the UK’s earliest nuclear reactors. Since 2012 the UK government has partnered with Bechtel Cavendish Nuclear Solutions to deliver a system that will allow Sellafield to retrieve the decades-old waste, package it safely, and dispose of it permanently.
EDF is helping Britain achieve Net Zero by leading the transition to a cleaner, low
emission electric future and tackling climate change. They are Britain’s biggest
generator of zero carbon electricity, meeting around one-fifth of the country’s
demand and supplying millions of customers with electricity and gas.
They generate low carbon electricity from six nuclear power stations, more than thirty
onshore wind farms and two offshore wind farms, and operate one of Britain’s
biggest battery storage units, one gas and one coal power station, thousands of EV
charge-points, and combined heat and power plants.
EDF is part of EDF Group, the world’s biggest electricity generator. In the UK we
employ around 13,000 people.
A wholly owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, Sellafield is responsible for the safe and secure operation and clean-up of the Sellafield site.
The environmental remediation of Sellafield involves:
• investing in one of the largest portfolios of complex major projects in the country
• retrieving and treating nuclear waste from legacy facilities and then storing it safely
• using assets and expertise to provide safe and secure storage for used nuclear
fuels and materials on behalf of the country.
Sellafield does this in collaboration with their supply chain partners, academia
and stakeholders. Together, they are creating a clean and safe environment for future
